Lorna G. (Bonnell) Charoux, 70

charouxLorna G. (Bonnell) Charoux, 70, of Haverhill, wife of her husband of more than 40 years, Raymond R. Charoux, passed away Nov. 7 at Merrimack Valley Hospital surrounded by her family.

Born in Haverhill, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Elizabeth (Zangari) Bonnell. She attended Haverhill public schools and was a graduate of Haverhill High School, class of 1963. Charoux was a willing participant in any card game as she was an avid card player. She loved to cook, especially for her family. She enjoyed seasonal camping and especially enjoyed trips to the beach. She was an articulate writer of poetry and successfully published many of her poems.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Tia C. Parrino-Chartier of Haverhill; her grandchildren, Raymond K. Maloney and Serenity M. Maloney of Amesbury; a great grandson, Mason R. Maloney; a brother, Samuel Bonnell and his wife Maryellen of Haverhill; a sister, Crystal Allard and Dave Parshley of Bradford; and sister-in-law Barbara Hanson. She was predeceased by her sister, Marlene Abrams.

Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours Wednesday, Nov. 11, from 4 to 7 p.m., at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St., Haverhill. A Memorial Service will follow at 7 in the funeral home. Burial will be private.
