Edmund F. Trahan, 88, World War II Veteran

edmund_trahanEdmund F. Trahan, 88, of Haverhill and formerly of Beverly, passed away Saturday, Oct. 30, at Hannah Duston Nursing Home, Haverhill, surrounded by his family.

Born in Saugus, he was the son of the late George J. and Ardella T. (Doughty) Trahan. Trahan attended Saugus Public Schools. He  served his country in the United States Navy during World War II. He enjoyed dancing, especially to polka music and country western music. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Surviving him are his two daughters, Janet Mary Wood of Haverhill and Linda Tardiff of Salem.

At the request of the family services will be private. Arrangements are under the direction of the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main S., Haverhill. Contributions may be made in his memory to the Northeast Outreach for Veterans, 65 Cedar Street, Haverhill.
