Eric H. Tobiassen, 68, of Haverhill, passed away at Holy Family Hospital, Methuen, Saturday, Oct. 31, after a brief illness.
Tobiassen was born May 15, 1947 in Melrose, son of the late Helge Tobiassen and Martha (Howell) Jeffries. He was raised in Melrose and educated in Melrose Schools. He is a veteran of the United States Army, having served during the Vietnam War. He worked for Raytheon for many years until his retirement.
His surviving family members include his wife, Alice Tobiassen of Haverhill and daughters, Erika Tobiassen-Place and husband Brian Place of Durham, N.H. and Kristen Tobiassen of Dover, N.H.
