In time for Thanksgiving, the Ward Hill Park Association is conducting its annual food drive to benefit the Sacred Hearts and St. James Food Pantries in Haverhill.
The group, a loose coalition of businesses in the park, is asking participating businesses to have items ready for collection Thursday, Nov. 19. Businesses and others who wish to participate may contact William “Bud” Hart at [email protected].
The food pantries need all food donations, but particularly the following items:
- Peanut butter
- Jelly
- Marshmallow fluff
- Toilet tissue
- Paper towels
- Baked beans
- Soup
- Shampoo
- Conditioner
- Razors
- Sugar (1lb. boxes)
- Mayonnaise
- Toothpaste
- Toothbrushes
- Ketchup
- Coffee (1lb. cans)
- Pasta
- Salt
- Pepper
