Rhoda Lee (Stolzberg) Averback, a resident of Haverhill and Lawrence for more than 60 years, passed away Oct. 15., peacefully at her home in Boynton Beach, Fla., surrounded by her immediate family.
She attended Syracuse University and graduated from Katherine Gibbs College.
Averback is survived by her husband Philip (aka Pincy), sister Phylis (Bob ob”m), daughters Nancy (David) Provencal, Judy (Rabbi Eliot) Pearlson, grandchildren Eric (Kendall), Emily ob”m, Aliza (Jay), Jonathan (Rebecca) and Sam (Ayala) and great-grandchildren Judah as well as many loving, cherished nieces and nephews.
A Graveside service will be held at Children of Israel Cemetery, Middle Road, Haverhill, Sunday, Oct. 18. at 1 pm. Arrangements are by Blasberg Rubin-Zilbert in conjunction with the H.L. Farmer & Sons Funeral Homes, Haverhill and Bradford.
