James Robert Davidson, 27, Battled Heroin Addiction

davidsonJames Robert Davidson, 27, lifelong resident of Haverhill, passed away Friday, Oct. 9,after a long battle with heroin addiction.

Davidson was born and raised in Haverhill and attended Haverhill schools. He enjoyed sports, music and sharing hugs. His family wants all to recognize that “the struggle to stay clean is worth it, get help, because you are worth it.”

Davidson’s surviving family members include his son, Aydin Lee Davidson and his mother Valerie Gonzales; father, Steven Davidson and wife Roz of Loudon, N.H.; mother, Nicole Alvarez and step-father, Christian of Haverhill; siblings, Steven Harley Davidson, Jacob Davidson and Christian Arias; grandmothers, Paula Chaisson and Ann Martin of Haverhill; aunt Heather Chaisson; uncle Paul Martin and wife Sue; several cousins and many friends.

Visitation will be Wednesday, Oct. 14, at Driscoll Funeral Home, 309 South Main St. (route 125), Haverhill, from 3 to 7 p.m.
