Mary T. Bowles, 65, Drove for Coppola Bus

bowlesMary T. Bowles, 65, of Groveland, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her loved ones, Thursday, Oct. 8.

She was born in Boston, Nov. 27, 1949, the daughter of the late, Margaret Campbell and the foster daughter of the late Arthur and Florence McCusker. She was educated in the Haverhill school system and graduated from Haverhill High School with the class of 1967. Prior to her retirement, she was a school bus driver for 36 years at Cotton Transportation and Coppola Bus. In her free time, Bowles enjoyed travel all through the United States and Aruba and occasionally to local casinos. She was very talented at crafts and enjoyed knitting and knick knack shopping. She was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan and enjoyed going to games with her daughter and friends.

Bowles was predeceased by her sisters, Muriel Bernier and Marilyn Caillier. She is survived by her daughter Amy and her husband Michael Augustonovich of Haverhill; a sister, Margaret Pfifferling of Haverhill; friend Sandra Cerasuolo of Groveland; three grandchildren, Alex and Nathan Cordeiro and Frank Augustonovich; as well as many nieces, nephews and many close friends.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours Saturday, Oct. 10, from 4 to 7 p.m., at the H.L. Farmer & Sons Funeral Home, 106 Summer St. Haverhill. Funeral services and burial will be private and at the convenience of her family. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to her family to defer the cost of funeral expenses.
