A daytime warrant sweep conducted by Haverhill police detectives Thursday nets at least 11 people on various charges including drug trafficking.
Four people including a Salem, N.H. man were taken into custody between 7:34 and 9:05 a.m., Thursday, on outstanding warrants charging each with drug trafficking. Franklyn Morillo, 40, 89 Farrwood Drive, Haverhill; Justin Bartimus, 34, 55 Walnut St., Haverhill; and Mara James, 40, 89 Farrwood Drive, Haverhill, were each arrested at home. A fourth, Michael Lally, 27, 53 Atkinson Road, Salem, N.H., was taken into custody at police headquarters, 40 Bailey Boulevard, at 8:13 a.m., Thursday.
Another seven including a Lowell man were arrested between 9:29 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., Thursday on warrants for charges not specified on a police log. The individuals arrested during the morning hours were due to be arraigned in Haverhill District Court Thursday afternoon while the others are expected to appear in court Friday.
