Wayne F. Marshall, 62, of Merrimac, died Sept. 22, at Country Center of Health & Rehabilitation in Newburyport.
Born in Haverhill Jan. 23, 1953, Marshall was the son of the late Robert F. and Marilyn (Young) Marshall. He graduated from Pentucket Regional High School, class of 1971, and continued his education at Northern Essex Community College where he earned his associate degree as a registered nurse. His career in nursing spanned more than 30 years working at the former Hale Hospital and Whittier Rehabilitation Hospital. He was a member of the Massachusetts Nurses Association.
He is survived by his brother Terry P. Marshall and his companion Gretchen Loeffler of Albany, N.H.
There was a graveside memorial service last Friday at Hillside Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Dole, Childs & Shaw Funeral Home, 148 Main Street, Haverhill.
