Police Say Woman Attacked Ambulance Workers

A medical response Friday night by emergency workers in Haverhill ended with the arrest of a Chelsea woman charged with assault and battery on ambulance personnel.

According to Haverhill police, Martha Santana, 50, of Chelsea, was arrested at 8:24 p.m., Friday, at 52 Brook St. She was additionally charged with disorderly conduct. Details of the medical incident were unavailable by deadline. Santana is due to be arraigned in Haverhill District Court.

A Haverhill man is due in court to face drug possession charges after his arrest by Haverhill police Sunday night. Police report Dean Falle, 41, of 9 Dogwood Circle, Haverhill, was taken into custody at 9:05 p.m., Sunday, at home. He was charged with two counts of possession of a class B drug and one count of possession of a class E drug.

Draven Newsome, 18, of 45 Nichols St., Haverhill, was arrested at 2:17 p.m., Saturday, at 259 Main Street. He was charged with larceny under $250 and disorderly conduct.

A Haverhill man is to appear in court on charges including driving without a license after his arrest by police during a traffic stop Saturday morning. Haverhill police report Mark Roller, 22, of 67 Washington St., Haverhill, was arrested at 11:34 a.m., Saturday, at 191 Merrimack St. He was also taken into custody on an unspecified outstanding warrant.

Gregg Costa, 41, address not listed, was charged with trespassing at 3:23 p.m., Friday, at 10 Vine St.
