Police Charge Four with Drug Dealing During Thursday Raid

Four men are due to be arraigned in Haverhill District Court on drug dealing charges after their arrests Thursday afternoon during an investigation by Haverhill police detectives.

According to police, Jordan Hunt, 20, of 3 Temple St., Haverhill and Ryan Grant, 20, of 24 Willow St., Haverhill, were arrested between 3:29 and 3:33 p.m., Thursday, at 32 Bellevue Ave. Each was charged with drug possession with intent to distribute and conspiracy to violate drug laws.

A short time later, during the investigation, detectives also arrested resident Uriel Fernandez, 23, of 32 Bellevue Ave., Haverhill and Francisco Fernandez, 61, of Methuen, between 3:48 and 3:50 p.m. Each was also charged with drug possession with intent to distribute and conspiracy to violate drug laws. Uriel Fernandez was also taken into custody on an outstanding warrant for two counts of distribution of a class D drug.

In other police news, two men, arrested Thursday on warrants, are due to appear separately in district court on unrelated charges.

Steven Berry, 56, listed as homeless with a prior address 45 Arch St., Haverhill, was arrested at 1:36 p.m., Thursday, at police headquarters, 40 Bailey Boulevard. Under a warrant, he was charged with failure to register as a sex offender.

Joseph Muniz, 39, of 145 Essex St., Haverhill, was arrested at 6:42 p.m., Thursday, on Dustin Street. Under a warrant, he was charged with possession of a class E drug.
