Traffic Stop Leads to Arrest on Driving Charges, Outstanding Warrant

A Haverhill man faces various charges in district court stemming from a traffic stop Tuesday by Haverhill police, which lead to his arrest.

According to police, Scott Trebbin, 26, of 215 Boardman St., Haverhill, was arrested at 9:19 a.m., Tuesday, on Emerson Street. He was charged with driving without a license and a crosswalk violation. He was also taken into custody on an outstanding warrant for two counts of assault and battery on a household member. He was due to be arraigned on the charges in Haverhilll District Court.

Two men were to appear in district court after they were taken into custody Tuesday at Haverhill police headquarters on unrelated charges under outstanding warrants.

Andres Ruiz, 24, of Lawrence, was arrested at 8:27 a.m., Tuesday, at 40 Bailey Boulevard. Under a warrant, he was charged with assault with a dangerous weapon, destruction of property and felony breaking and entering in the nighttime.

Creig Boyd, 40, of 127 Portland St., Haverhill, was taken into custody at 2:03 p.m., Tuesday, at police headquarters, 40 Bailey Boulevard, on a warrant charging him with conspiracy to violate drug laws.
