Raelene A. (Florent) Cote, 55, Worked at Western Electric

coteRaelene A. (Florent) Cote, 55, of Nashua, N.H., formerly of Haverhill, wife of David G. Cote, passed away Thursday, Sept. 17, at her home surrounded by her family.

Born in Methuen and raised in Haverhill, she was the daughter of Marcia A. (Anderson) Lajoie and the late Raymond E. Florent. She attended Haverhill public schools and Haverhill High School.

Cote was employed as an assembler at the former Western Electric, North Andover, and later was employed at a Dunkin Donuts, Nashua. She enjoyed her favorite television shows with her favorite foods. Cote always looked forward to spending time at the beach especially with her family. She will always be remembered as witty and funny. She fought a courageous battle with her illness for the past four years.

In addition to her husband, she leaves a son, David S. Cote of Haverhill; sisters, Rachel M. (Florent) Custeau and her husband David S. of Plaistow, N.H., and Jennifer Lajoie-Clough of Bradford;  grandchildren, Alysia Florent, Taytum Florent, Shayna Talarico, Chase Cote and Maya Cote; six stepsisters and two step brothers; her mother-in-law, Lois (Beaubien) Evans of Manchester, N.H.; In laws, Barbara and Tim Adler of Burnham, Maine, Holly and David Lunhart of Milford, N.H. and Heidi and William Wilmont of Merrimack, N.H.; two nephews, Raymond Florent and Timothy Clough. She is predeceased by her two sons, Lewis Florent and Pate Cote.

Funeral services began this morning at 9 from Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St., Haverhill, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 at All Saints Church, 120 Bellevue Avenue, Haverhill. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, East Broadway, Haverhill.
