Alzheimer’s Fundraiser Tonight in Haverhill Features Two Bands

Band music, raffle prizes, drinks and dancing takes place tonight as organizers seek to raise money for research to find a cure for Alzheimer’s.

An acoustic performance by Darren Hawe and the performance of folk and rock by the Kenny Brother’s Band highlight the event beginning at 8 p.m., at 90 Washington St., Haverhill.

Money will go towards the Alzheimer’s Association Walk For a Cure, which takes place Sunday, beginning with registrations at 8:30 a.m. and ceremony at 10 a.m., at 200 Brickstone Square, Andover. The walk is the world’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research.

Tickets are $5 at the door. For more information about Sunday’s Andover walk, call (617) 868-6718.
