The League of Women Voters of Greater Haverhill is seeking passengers for its “Vote Boat,” aboard the Captain’s Lady III, this Saturday, Sept. 19.
The annual fundraiser benefits student scholarships and civic education programs. The boat leaves from Newburyport Harbor at 4:30 p.m. and will cruise the Merrimack River until sunset. Embarkation is at 4 p.m. on Newburyport Pier.
There will be a cash bar with hors d’oeuvres provided by Starboard Galley; music, raffles and a silent auction.
