John M. “Mike” Page, 70, Worked as a Printer

Mike_pageJohn M. “Mike” Page, 70, of Haverhill, husband of Pauline M. (Desilets) Page for 44 years, passed away Monday, Sept. 14, at Merrimack Valley Hospice surrounded by his family after a battle with cancer.

Born in Salem, he was the son of the late Oliver J. and Ida M. (Deshais) Page. Page attended Beverly High Trade School, class of 1963, and worked as a printer by trade for more than 50 years. He was an outdoorsman who loved to go camping and hiking with family and friends. He enjoyed working on cars and doing odd jobs around the house. Page found joy spending his time being home, in the yard with his family, and at his camp in Ashland, N.H.

In addition to his wife he leaves his children, Michelle J. “Shelby” Page and her companion Andrew Dern of Salem, N.H., Marc J. Page of Merrimac, and Denise (Page) Pigeon and her husband Andrew of Bradford; a brother in law, David “Jeff” Vincent of Plainville, N.Y.; three grandchildren, Noah Andrew, Emilia Marie, and Oliver John Pigeon; brother and sisters-in-law, Robert Thurk, of Oklahoma City, Okla., Andre and Janine Doucet, of Sherbrooke, Canada, Theresa Desilets, of St. Albert, Canada, Andre Desilets and his companion, Heather Aizley, of Peabody, Henri Paul Desilets and his wife, Marie France Gauthier, of Davelyville, Canada, and Monique Story, of Merrimac; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Dorothy Vincent and sister in law, Henriette Thurk.

Friends and family are invited to attend calling hours Thursday, Sept. 17 from 5 to 8 p.m., at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St., Haverhill. Funeral services will be Friday at 11: a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery, 96 Salem St., Haverhill.
