Charlotte F. (Johnson) Comeau, 61, Worked in Food Industry

Charlotte_ComeauCharlotte F. (Johnson) Comeau, 61, of Haverhill, died unexpectedly at home Wednesday, Sept. 9. She was the  wife of Henry Comeau. They shared 40 years together.

Comeau was born Feb. 6, in Beaver Falls, Penn. She attended Sacred Hearts School in Beaver Falls. She worked in the food industry for many years in various positions and, more recently, as a jewelry receiver for Wal-Mart in Plaistow, N.H. She loved spending time doing arts and crafts, ceramics, knitting and crocheting. She also enjoyed going to yard sales.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Sonja Buchan and her husband Brendan; a son, Shawn Comeau and his girlfriend, Amy T. Vines; four step-sons, William, David, Kenneth and John Comeau; several grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Ernie and Jimmy Johnson; brother-in-law, Gregory Comeau and his wife, Mary; a niece, Lisa Waters; a nephew, Lenny Yardborgh; her best friend, Linda Greenwood and her close friends, Donald and Lorraine Bilodeau. She was predeceased by her sister, Elaine Yardborgh

A funeral service for Comeau will be Tuesday at Linnehan-Grondin Funeral Home, 129 Kenoza Ave., Haverhill, at 7 p.m. Visiting hours will be  prior to the service from 5 to 7 p.m.Interment will be private.
