Police Arrest Atkinson, N.H., Man on Drug Possession Charge

An Atkinson, N.H. man is due to be arraigned in Haverhill District Court on a drug-related charge after being arrested by Haverhill police Monday afternoon in connection with an investigation in Ward Hill.

According to police, Dennis Bieniecki, 32, of Atkinson, was arrested at 2:27 p.m., Monday, at 880 Boston Road. He was charged with possession of a class B drug.

In other police news:

A Haverhill man, arrested Saturday on a warrant for a charge of threatening, faces an additional charge in court for unlicensed possession of ammunition. Micheal Coffta, 23, of 23 Twin Brook Circle, Haverhill, was taken into custody at 8:06 p.m., Saturday, at home.

Three people are due to appear in district court on unrelated assault charges following their separate arrests by Haverhill police over the holiday weekend.

Keith Brugnani, 24, of 75 Portland St., Haverhill, was arrested at 5:36 p.m., Sunday, at 2 Prospect St. He was charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

At 7:44 p.m., Friday, Haverhill police arrested Bryan Schena, 59, of 8 Sherman Ave., Haverhill, at home on a charge of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

Also, at 5:31 p.m., Friday, John Wilson, 24, listed by police as homeless, was arrested on a warrant on Main Street. Charges under the warrant include assault and battery and threatening to commit a crime.

Two Haverhill residents, including a 15-year-old minor, were arrested separately by Haverhill police over the weekend on charges of disorderly conduct.

Haverhill police report Paul Foulkes, 25, of 26 Front St., Bradford section, was arrested at 2:14 a.m., Saturday, at 62 Washington St. He was charged with one count of disorderly conduct.

Also, at about midnight, Sunday, a 15-year old male was taken into custody by Haverhill police on one count of disorderly conduct. His identity is being withheld due to his age.

A Lynn man is among two motorists arrested by Haverhill police on unlicensed driving charges, among others, during separate traffic stops Friday.

According to police, Mark Young, 26, of 215 Boardman St., Haverhill, was arrested at 9:29 p.m., Friday, on Interstate 495 northbound. He was charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and cited for failure to stop or yield.

Also, Eduardo Nolasco Chavez, 24, of Lynn, was arrested by Haverhill police at 6:11 p.m., Friday, on Jericho Road and charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
