Alice C. (Comeau) Kemp, 72, Formerly of Ralph Lauren Polo

Alice_KempAlice C. (Comeau) Kemp, 72, of Methuen passed away Wednesday, Sept. 2, at Merrimack Valley Hospice House, Haverhill, surrounded by her family.

Born in Haverhill, she was the daughter of the late Eli J. and Arlene M. (Timmons) Comeau. Kemp attended Haverhill schools and was a graduate of Haverhill High School, class of 1960. She was employed as a presser at the Ralph Lauren Polo factory in Lawrence for many years. She also worked part time as a waitress and at the local Dunkin Donuts.

Surviving her are her children, Bonny Noonan and her fiancé, Scott A. Miller, of Andover; John R. Kemp and Bonnie Rollins of Newton, N.H., Robert J. Kemp and Liz Juliano of Lawrence, Arlene Willette and her husband James of Methuen and Harold Kemp and his wife Angel of Haverhill; her longtime companion, James White of Methuen; 13 grandchildren, Leah, Neal, Bobby, Felicia, Madison, Alexis, Billy, Jimmy, Shawn, Austin, Samantha, Hayden and John Jr.; five great grandchildren; and sisters, Jacquelin Haggett and Patricia Jennings of Haverhill. She was predeceased by her brother Harold Comeau.

Friends and family are invited to call Tuesday from 10 a.m. until noon with funeral services immediately following visitation at noon in the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main Street, Haverhill. Burial will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Hilldale Avenue, Haverhill.
