Haverhill Woman Faces Theft, Credit Card Fraud Charges

A Haverhill woman is due to be arraigned in Haverhill District Court on theft and credit card fraud charges following her arrest Thursday in connection with a Haverhill police investigation.

Carol Plourde, 53, of 31 Woodcock Ave., Haverhill, was arrested at 5:27 p.m., Thursday, at home on a warrant charging her with credit card fraud over $250 and larceny over $250.

In other police news, a Haverhill woman arrested on a warrant Thursday morning was to appear in court on charges related to a disturbance. Haverhill police report Elsa Guzman, 37, of 64 Beach St., Haverhill, was arrested at 8:39 a.m., Thursday, at 634 Washington St. Under the warrant, she was charged with being idle and disorderly and resisting arrest.

  1. Carol Plourde, you should ask the judge to give you the same penalty that the 30 Haverhill fire fighters got when they each committed fraud and larceny by stealing over $1,800.00 each from taxpayers.

    City employees conspire with each other to steal over $54,000.00 from taxpayers and nothing happens to them.
    Yet another badge of honor for Haverhill’s failure of a mayor.
