Veterans Northeast Director John Ratka to Speak at Chamber Panel

The leader of a Haverhill-based nonprofit is among the featured speakers at a breakfast forum on opportunities and assistance for veterans during the Merrimack Valley Chamber of Commerce (MVCC)’s upcoming “Fall Back To Business Expo, Trade Show, Job, Health and Wellness Fair.”

Veterans Northeast Outreach Center Executive Director John Ratka will be joined by state Rep. and former Army officer Linda Dean Campbell of Methuen and two other scheduled breakfast forum speakers from 8 until 9:30 a.m., Wednesday, Sept. 16 at Andover Country Club, 60 Canterbury St., Andover. Pre-registration is required for the complimentary continental breakfast and speaking program.

The program discusses programs and resources available through the Small Business Administration, Merrimack Valley Chamber and a network of resource organizations, according to a chamber flyer. “From writing your business plan to seeking start-up capital, it’s information you can use.”

Other speakers during the “Veterans Assistance Program” will include Peter Morbeck, Northeast SCORE chapter and Oresta Varela, U.S Small Business Administration
