Sandown Old Home Days Fall Festival is taking place Sept. 11 and 12.
There is a chili cook-off, beer tent and live band, Jimmy East and the Soldiers of Soul, Friday Sept. 11 in the recreation building from 7 to 11 p.m.
Saturday events take place in the recreation building and police station from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The day kicks on with a free pancake breakfast sponsored by St. Matthew’s Church followed by crafts, food vendors and live music. Later in the day there is a pie eating contest, classic car show, confetti the clown and Magic Show.
