Trinity Episcopal Church Begins Seventh Year of Free Music Lessons

An after-school outreach program at Trinity Episcopal Church, 26 White St., Haverhill, is offering free music lessons aimed to children of financially constrained families.

The Academy of Creative Arts at Trinity (ACAT) in Haverhill is beginning its seventh year of “making a joyful noise,” from 4 to 6 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 24. Enrollment is open for the 2015-2016 school year for Haverhill children in grades one through six. The weekly program allows children to explore their interest in music through group lessons in violin, flute, piano, guitar and singing. Classes are also offered in the visual arts and theatre.

“The program, supported by a Mission Hub grant from the Episcopal Diocese of Massachusetts, private donors and community agencies, welcomes children of all faiths and backgrounds,” a spokesperson said.
