Nancy Elizabeth (Denney) Vadeboncoeur, 49, Former IRS Worker

VadeboncoeurNancy Elizabeth (Denney) Vadeboncoeur, 49, a lifelong resident of Haverhill, passed away Wednesday, Aug, 12, at Lawrence General Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Haverhill, she was the daughter of the late Joseph P. and Barbara A. (Dwyer) Denney. Educated in Haverhill, she attended Haverhill public schools and was a graduate of Haverhill High School, Class of 1984.

Vadeboncoeur was employed at the Internal Revenue Service, Andover, for many years. She later worked in the local area at a variety of positions due to her health issues. She had struggled with heart problems most of her adult life. She has fought courageously and has maintained a positive attitude towards life. She was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan. Vadeboncoeur enjoyed watching her favorite TV shows, the Walton’s and Little House on the Prairie. She loved her hometown of Haverhill and stayed in touch with her many close friends never venturing far from home. In her younger days she enjoyed playing softball and will always be remembered for her big heart and her caring spirit.

Vadeboncoeur leaves a daughter, Stefani E.Vadeboncouer of Haverhill; a son, Joshua F. Theide of Groton; her brothers, Joseph D. Denney and his wife Garrett Ingram of Flemington, N.J.; and Brian D. Denney and his wife Jean of Haverhill; close friends, Ronald and Jamie and several loving nieces and nephews, all who will miss her dearly.

Friends and family are respectfully invited to attend a funeral service for Vadeboncoeur Friday evening at 8 p.m. at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St., Haverhill. Visiting hours  precede the funeral service from 5 until 8 p.m. Burial is private.
