Bryon W. Henson, 50, Whittier Vo-Tech Class of 1983 Grad

Bryon W. Henson, 50, of Haverhill, passed away peacefully with his family by his side Monday, Aug. 3, at the Holy Family Hospital at Merrimack Valley after a short battle with pancreatic cancer.

Born in Jacksonville, Fla., he was the son of Onnie L. Henson and Marjorie A. (Scarcione) Howard, and stepson of Edward E. Howard.

He attended Haverhill public schools and was a graduate of Whittier Regional Vocational Technical High School, class of 1983. Henson was employed at the North Andover McDonalds for many years. He was a member of the Haverhill Elks Lodge B.P.O.E.  #165. He enjoyed wrestling, New England Patriot and he playing video games. Having a sweet tooth, he loved his snacks and diet coke.

In addition to his parents, he leaves his brothers and sisters, David L. Henson, of Haverhill, Brenda A. Jennings and her husband, Barry, of Haverhill, John P. Henson and his wife, Sandy, of Spring Hill, Fla., and Rose M. Blood and her husband, David, of Fence Lake, N.M.; niece; and many nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Family and friends were invited to a memorial graveside service this morning at Elmwood Cemetery, Salem St. Bradford. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St. Haverhill.
