Police Charge Lawrence Men with Haverhill Drug Dealing

Two Lawrence residents are due to be arraigned in Haverhill District Court on drug dealing charges following their arrests Wednesday afternoon by Haverhill police detectives.

According to police, Stephany Ramirez, 25 and Agar Torres, 32, both of Lawrence, were arrested at 4:15 p.m., Wednesday, at 47 Farrwood Drive. Each is charged with possession of a class A drug with intent to distribute and conspiracy to violate drug laws. Ramirez was additionally charged with possession of a class B drug.

In other police news, a Haverhill man accused of sexual assault against a minor faces court arraignment after his arrest Wednesday night. Haverhill police report Norman Bergman, 47, of 12 Grand Ave., Haverhill, was arrested at 9:50 p.m., Wednesday, at home. He was charged with one count of indecent assault and battery of a child over 14.

A Haverhill man accused of burglarizing two motor vehicles in an Acre neighborhood late Tuesday night was arraigned in district court after being arrested by Haverhill police shortly after midnight. According to police, Frank Kimball, 26, of 138 Franklin St., Haverhill, was arrested at 12:07 a.m., Wednesday, at 92 Cedar St. He was charged with two counts of breaking and entering a motor vehicle. No further details were available by deadline.

Also, a traffic stop by Haverhill police Wednesday night lead to the arrest of a Haverhill man on a charge of driving without a license. Haverhill police report Sergio Ramirez-Lopez, 42, of 31 Hale St., Haverhill, was arrested at 8:25 p.m., Wednesday, at 101 High St. He was also cited by police for a stop sign violation. He is due to be arraigned in Haverhill District Court.

Two warrant arrests were made by Haverhill police within more than a half hour early Wednesday afternoon. Police report Jeremy Baston, 40, of 33 High St., Haverhill, was taken into custody at 12:50 p.m., Wednesday, at police headquarters, 40 Bailey Boulevard, on a warrant charging him with trespassing and resisting arrest. Also, David Haskell, 33, of 7 ½ Rose St., Haverhill, was arrested on an unspecified warrant at 1:23 p.m, Wednesday, at home.
