Warrant Arrest of Haverhill Man Leads to Firearms-Related Charges

A Haverhill man, arrested at home by police on a warrant Wednesday, faces additional firearms-related charges in connection with weapons allegedly found on-view.

According to Haverhill police, Daniel McKenna, 29, of 25 Bateman St., Haverhill, was arrested at 11 a.m., Wednesday, at home. In addition to a warrant charging him with uttering a false script, he was charged with possession of a firearm without a firearms identification card, possession of a shotgun on-view and possession of ammunition on view.

In other police news, a woman listed by Haverhill police as homeless is facing a heroin possession charge following her arrest Wednesday morning in a lower Acre neighborhood. Police report Amie Noyes, 31, previous address listed as 14 Albion St., Haverhill, was arrested at 8:59a.m., Wednesday, at 40 White St. She was charged with a single count of possession of heroin.
