Two Lawrence residents are due to be arraigned in Haverhill District Court on drug dealing charges after their arrests by Haverhill police detectives Tuesday.
According to police, Neftali Rosa Rodriguez, 34 and Moxan Berenice, 34, both of Lawrence, were arrested at 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, at 73 Washington Ave. Each is charged with distribution of a class A drug, conspiracy to violate drug laws and violation near a school zone or park. Rodriguez was also taken into custody on an unspecified outstanding warrant.
In other police news, a Haverhill man charged by police with drinking in public is due to appear in court after his arrest in a lower Acre neighborhood. Haverhill police report Alfarno Estreda, 50, of 43 Nichols St., unit 2, Haverhill, was arrested at 3:30 p.m., Tuesday, at 34 Vine St.
