Alfred E. Frechette, 57, Career in Leather Industry

Alfred E. Frechette, 57, of Haverhill, passed away Thursday, July 9, surrounded by his family at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House, Haverhill.

Born in Cambridge, he was the son of the late, Alfred E. and Norma (Dezaro) Frechette. Raised and educated in Lynn, he attended Lynn public schools and Lynn High School. Frechette was employed in the leather industry for his entire career. He was last employed as a foreman for the Janco Leather Company, Haverhill, for many years.

He married the love of his life, Pamela J. (Buckley) in 2002. Besides his wife, he leaves a son, James A. Frechette, of Scituate; step children Laura-Lynn Valido, Shaune P. Valido, Shaine F. Valido, all of Bradford, Steven M. Valido, of Derry, N.H., and Ronald E. Valido, of Hudson, N.H.; five grandchildren, Katie, Natalia and Shaine Valido Jr, Tucker Webb and Jenayah Timothee. A lover of animals, he especially loved his two cats.

Friends and family are respectfully invited to call on Monday evening from 5 to 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held immediately following the period of visitation at 7 at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St. Haverhill.
