Police Charge Haverhill Man with Credit Card Theft

A Haverhill man is due to be arraigned in district court on theft-related charges allegedly involving a stolen credit card following his arrest Tuesday as the result of a police investigation.

Haverhill police report Christopher J. Finnegan, 53, of 28 Victor St., unit 14, Haverhill, was arrested on two warrants at 3:20 p.m., Tuesday, at home. Under the warrants, he is charged with larceny of a credit card, uttering, larceny under $250 and forgery.

In other police news, a Derry, N.H. man accused of assault was taken into custody by Haverhill police Tuesday night on an outstanding warrant. Haverhill police report Mark Dufour, III, 22, of Derry, was arrested at 9:08 p.m., Tuesday, at 11 Hilldale Ave. Under the warrant, he is charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and threatening. Dufour is due to be arraigned in Haverhill District Court.

Also, a woman listed by police as homeless heads to court after her arrest Tuesday evening on a warrant charging her with breaking and entering and trespassing. Haverhill police report Heather Johnson, 30, was taken into custody at 5:30 p.m., Tuesday, at 175 Washington St.
