Haverhill Juvenile Faces Theft-Related, Resisting Arrest Charges

A Haverhill teenager is facing theft-related charges in juvenile court after his arrest by Haverhill police after he allegedly broke into a motor vehicle early Monday.

According to police, a 14-year old male suspect was taken into custody at 5:55 a.m., Monday, on Edgewood Avenue. He was charged with breaking and entering larceny from a motor vehicle and resisting arrest. His identity is being withheld due to his age.

In other police news, a traffic stop Monday evening led to the arrest of a Haverhill man on charges including operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license. Haverhill police report Robert Macdonald, 33, of 77 Hillcrest Ave., Haverhill, was arrested at 7:50 p.m., Monday, at 11 High St. In addition to the suspended license charge, he faces charges of speeding and improper operation of a motor vehicle. He is due to be arraigned on the charges in Haverhill District Court.

Also, a Haverhill man was arrested Monday on a warrant charging him with attempt to commit a crime. According to Haverhill police, Aaron Buckley, 21, of 15 Shawmut Ave., Haverhill, was taken into custody at noon, Monday, on Bank Road.
