A Haverhill woman is due to be arraigned in district court on drug possession and motor vehicle charges after her arrest Thursday evening on a warrant.
Haverhill police report Lynda Castro, 41, of 40 Green St., Haverhill, was taken into custody at 8:40 p.m., Thursday, at home. Under a warrant she is charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license. She was additionally charged with possession of a class A drug.
In other police news, a Haverhill man charged with shoplifting is due in court after his arrest Thursday evening at Westgate shopping plaza, 400 Lowell Ave. According to Haverhill police, Philip Pinto, 41, of 11 Cottage Ave., Haverhill, was arrested at 8:30 p.m., Thursday.
Dylan D. Flanagan, 23, 164 South Pleasant St., Haverhill, was arrested on a warrant, charging him with assault and battery on a household member, 164 South Pleasant St., 5:45 p.m.
