Frank Disorbo, 87, 50-year Member of Laborers’ International

Frank Disorbo, 87, of Bradford, passed away Saturday, June 20, at his home surrounded by his loved ones.

He was born in Haverhill, Aug. 10, 1927, son of the late Joseph and Angelina (DeMarco) Disorbo. He was educated in the Haverhill public school system and was employed for many years as foreman for various contractors. He was a 50-year member of Laborers’ International and a member of the Teamsters. Disorbo enjoyed riding his Harley and car racing in his younger years. After moving to Maine, he was known for buying items for yard sales, and gifting the best bags of potatoes for all his loved ones during his visits south.

Disorbo was predeceased by his wife of more than years, Roberta (Chambers) Disorbo and a son Frankie. He is survived by his  daughters, Katherine Ball of Hallandale Beach Fla. and, Rita and her husband Paul Chambers of Bradford; caregivers, Mark Balkus and John Morang; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours Tuesday, June 23, from 5 to 8 p.m., at the H.L. Farmer & Sons Funeral Home, 106 Summer St. Haverhill. His Funeral Service will be Wednesday, June 24, at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery, Bradford. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his name may be made to the Merrimac Valley Hospice House, 360 North Ave. Haverhill.
