Fernande Marie “Pat” (Goulet) Riley, 87, AT&T Retiree

Fernande Marie “Pat” (Goulet) Riley, 87, of Sweden, Maine, formerly of Plaistow, N.H., and Ossipee, N.H., died Sunday, June 14 at the home of her son and daughter-in-law.

She was born in St. Camille, Canada, April 22, 1928, daughter of the late Joseph A. and Julia (Lapierre) Goulet. Riley was educated in the Haverhill school system and graduated from Haverhill High School, class of 1947. For more than 30 years, she was employed at the former AT&T, North Andover, from where she retired in 1984. Prior to this she was employed at the former Hooker and Howe, Bradford, as well as a stitcher in the local shoe industry. Riley enjoyed sewing, crocheting, gardening and reading.

She was the wife of the late Herbert L. Riley, mother of the late Patricia Riley and grandmother of the late Amie Riley. Her survivors include two sons, Michael J. Riley and his wife Charlotte of Sweden, Maine, and Dennis H. Riley and his wife Kathy of Kingston, N.H.; three grandchildren, Melissa, Jennifer and Paul Riley, three great grandchildren and a nephew.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her calling hours Thursday, June 18, from 9 to 10:45 a.m., at the H.L. Farmer & Sons Funeral Home, 106 Summer St., Haverhill, followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Holy Angels Cemetery, Plaistow, N.H.
