Police Arrest Juvenile, Adult in Separate Robbery Cases

Two people, including a Haverhill teenager, are each facing unarmed robbery charges in separate warrant arrests by police over the weekend.

According to Haverhill police, a 15-year old male juvenile was taken into custody at 5:35 p.m., Friday, on a warrant charging him with unarmed robbery and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

In an unrelated arrest, Joseph Jacobs, 24, of 70 Harrison St., Haverhill, was taken into custody at noon, Saturday, at the intersection of Charles and Harrison streets. Under a warrant, he is facing a single count of unarmed robbery.

In other police news, a Haverhill man was arrested Friday on burglary and theft charges under an outstanding warrant. Haverhill police report Jeffrey Juliane, 27, of 35 Fifth Ave., Haverhill, was taken into custody at 8:35 a.m., Friday, on Hilldale Avenue.
