The Buttonwoods Museum is having its History for “Half Pints: Fairy Garden Party,” next Tuesday.

History for Half Pints are programs for children ages two through six and their caregivers. Children’s fairy gardens were popular at many Victorian homes, like the Duncan House, according to the museum. During the fairy garden party, kids may make and take a fairy-sized home for their own gardens.

The vent takes place between 4 and 5 p.m., Tuesday, June 9, at Buttonwoods Museum, 240 Water St. The cost is $5, or $4 for Haverhill Historical Society members. Spaces are limited and registration is required. To register, email [email protected].
