Helen T. (Banach) Pelosi, 94, of Haverhill, died Monday morning, June 1, at Wingate at Haverhill.
She was born in Worcester, Jan. 28, 1921, daughter of the late Anthony and Katherine (Popielorez) Banach and was educated in the Worcester school system. For more than 20 years, Pelosi was employed in the local shoe shops. She enjoyed camping and cooking.
Her survivors include her husband of 67 years, Rocco L. Pelosi of Haverhill, sisters-in-law, Virginia Montisanti and her husband Tony of Haverhill, Paula Pelosi of Haverhill and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours Wednesday, June 3, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the H.L. Farmer & Sons Funeral Home, 106 Summer St., Haverhill. Her Funeral will be Thursday morning, June 4, beginning at 10 at the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 in All Saints Church, Haverhill. Burial will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Haverhill.
