A review of Mayor James J. Fiorentini’s $168.6 million budget proposal yielded “no cuts and no changes of any degree,” according to Haverhill City Councilor William J. Macek, administration and finance committee member.

Wednesday’s budget conference session by councilors reviewed proposed spending for the mayor’s office, city clerk, purchasing, information technology, treasurer, auditor, employee benefits, human resources and for the council itself. Administration and Finance Committee Chairman Colin LePage was unable to attend.

The council’s next budget review session Monday covers departmental spending plans for the city’s assessor, legal, economic development and planning, conservation, inspectional services, library, human services and veterans offices.
