Steven Ben Anzaldi, 48, of South Boston, formerly of Haverhill passed away Tuesday, May 26, at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center, Boston.
Born in Haverhill, he was the son of Mariann (Tuck) Anzaldi and the late Steven W. Anzaldi. He attended Haverhill Public Schools and was a graduate of Whittier Technical High School Class of 1984. Anzaldi attended UMass Boston and studied physical therapy. He was a long shoreman for many years working on the docks in Boston Harbor. He enjoyed playing sports including basketball, racquetball and was an avid weight lifter. He also enjoyed fishing and cherished his time spent with his family.
Surviving him in addition to his mother are brother Daniel C. Anzaldi of Ossippee, N.H.; niece Tanya M. Anzaldi; nephew Daniel C. Anzaldi Jr.; and several cousins all of whom will miss him dearly.
Friends and family are respectfully invited to call on Friday evening, from 5 until 7 p.m. at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St., Haverhill. A memorial service will be in the funeral home at 7 p.m.
