Benchmark Senior Living at Haverhill Crossings and Haverhill Council on Aging Senior Center are having a free Flower and Art Show with live music, bake sale, floral arrangements and works of art from local seniors and residents.
The show takes place Thursday, June 25, from 2 to 4 p.m., at Haverhill Crossings, 254 Amesbury Road.
A panel of judges from the Haverhill Senior Center and Haverhill Crossings will award a prize for “Best in Show” for one piece of art. Local florists are invited to donate an arrangement showcasing their design talents. Each person attending receives a free raffle ticket to enter to win a floral arrangement. The florist with the most raffle entries will be awarded a gift basket.
The Flower and Art Show is free and open to the public, and will be held rain or shine. Guests are encouraged to register by calling (978) 556-1600. Refreshments will be served and proceeds from the bake sale benefit the Sacred Hearts Food Pantry in Bradford.
