Jacqueline C. (Jonah) LaBranche, 84

Jacqueline C. (Jonah) LaBranche, 84, of Haverhill, died Friday, May 22, at Merrimack Valley Hospice House after a long battle with cancer. She was the wife of the late Eugene M. LaBranche.

Born in Manchester, N.H., May 27, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Charlie and Maude Crandall. She was a longtime resident of Haverhill and attended Haverhill schools. She was a fan of the New England Patriots and the Boston Red Sox and also loved to watch reality shows, game shows and soap operas. LaBranche also enjoyed reading the local newspaper and having her afternoon coffee.

She is survived by her three daughters, Joan LaBranche, Lisa Paquin and Jean Doiron and her husband, Larry; three grandchildren, Kayla Lowes, Kyle Paquin who is currently enlisted in the U.S. Navy and Michael Doiron and his husband, Jeffery; two great-granddaughters, Ava and Ella Doiron; a brother, Robert Sullivan and his wife, Lucette. She was also predeceased by her brother, Walter Lagasse and a sister, Rita Hannah and her husband, Henry.

Visiting hours will be Wednesday, May 27, at Linnehan-Grondin Funeral Home, 129 Kenoza Ave., Haverhill ,from 10 a.m to 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in LaBranche’s memory to the Merrimack Valley Hospice House, 360 Merrimack St., Bldg. 9, Lawrence, MA 01843 or to the Susan G.
