Hector M. Zepeda, 30, of Haverhill, passed away Friday, May 22, at Holy Family Hospital in Methuen, surrounded by his family.
Born in Mexico, he immigrated to the United States in 1990. He was the son of Jose Santiago Zepeda and Guillermina (Tapia) Zepeda.
Zepeda attended Haverhill Public Schools and was a graduate of Haverhill High School, Class of 2002. He continued his education at ITT Technical Institute for electronics and graduated in September, 2004. He worked as a customer service representative and a technical expert for a local electronics firm. He was an avid fisherman, especially at Salisbury Beach. He loved camping and canoeing and any activity outdoors. He was very unique person. He always helped out other people who were in need.
Surviving him in addition to his parents are two brothers, Jose Santiago Zepeda Jr. and Edgar Eduardo Zepeda, both of Haverhill; his grandmother, Marie Consuelo Ayala of Mexico; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Friends and family are invited to call Tuesday evening from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main Street, Haverhill. Funeral services will begin Wednesday morning at 9 from the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10 a.m. at St. James Church, Winter Street, Haverhill.
