Michael J. Seaman, 53, Owner of Pentucket Patrol and Security

Michael J. Seaman, 53, a lifelong resident of Haverhill died May 17, at Merrimack Valley Hospice House.

Born, raised and educated in Haverhill, son of Marlene (Langlois) Seaman and the late Donald Seaman, he graduated from Haverhill High School with the class of 1979.

Seaman owned several small businesses in the area, including Pentucket Patrol and Security for many years. A member of All Saints Parish and the former St. Joseph Parish, he was a licensed insurance and real estate broker.

Seaman initiated the Haverhill Traveling Basketball Program and coached Haverhill Junior Football for many years. He was also a past member of the Haverhill Kiwanis Club.

He is survived by a son, Zachary; his mother, Marlene (Langlois) Seaman of Haverhill; sister Diane Seaman of Haverhill; brother, Daniel J. Seaman and his wife Maureen of Haverhill; two nephews and a niece, Daniel J. Seaman Jr, Patrick D. Seaman, and Miranda M. Seaman all of Haverhill; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. In addition to his father, he was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Melvin and Hilda Langlois, and his paternal grandparents, Earl and Freda Seaman.

Relatives and friends may call Thursday, May 21, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Berube-Comeau Funeral Home, 47 Broadway, Haverhill. His funeral will take place Friday, 10 a.m., in the funeral home followed by burial in Linwood Cemetery.
