Police Arrest Man Downtown on Disorderly Conduct Charges

A Haverhill man is due to be arraigned in district court on charges in connection with a disturbance early Saturday in the Washington Street historic district.

Haverhill police report Miguel A. Gragirenes, 26, of Haverhill, was arrested at 1:05 a.m., Saturday, at 100 Washington St. He was charged with disorderly conduct, threatening and resisting arrest.

In other police news, a New Hampshire man is due in court to face charges including larceny of a motor vehicle. According to Haverhill police, Nathan R. Gaskill, 25, of East Kingston, N.H., was arrested at 11:04 p.m., Saturday, at 1 Main St. Under an outstanding warrant, he was additionally charged with destruction of property over $250.

Two people arrested separately by Haverhill police over the weekend on fugitive from justice charges are due to appear in district court.

According to police, Rocky A. Cote, 32, of Haverhill, was arrested at 1:45 p.m., Saturday, at River and Hall streets. He was charged with operating a motor vehicle without a license and with being a fugitive from justice in Rhode Island.

On Friday, police arrested Timothy Stuart, 42, of Salem, N.H., at 6:09 p.m. at 138 South Elm St. on a warrant charging him with being a fugitive from justice.
