Gary A. Bilodeau, 69, U.S. Air Force Veteran

Gary A. Bilodeau, 69, passed away Wednesday, May 13, at the Lakeview House Nursing Home in Haverhill.

He was born in Haverhill Aug. 5, 1945, son of the late Arnold and Dorothy (Kelly) Bilodeau. Bilodeau was educated in the Haverhill school system and graduated from Haverhill High School with the class of 1963. After graduation he joined the Air Force where he served our country for four years. Soon after his honorable discharge from the Air Force, he earned a degree from Northern Essex Community College and started his career as a sales person. He  recently retired from Esty Lumber in Groveland. Bilodeau will be remembered for having an amazing singing voice and enjoyed singing at the Riverside Memorial Church. He was a past member of the Bradford Grange and loved to play bingo, go fishing, reading and dogs.

Bilodeau is survived by his wife of 42 years, Janice (Grasso) Bilodeau of Haverhill; son, Brian Bilodeau of Haverhill; brothers Alden and his wife Joanne Bilodeau of Haverhill, Kevin Bilodeau of Haverhill, and Wesley Bilodeau of Tucson Ariz.; brothers-in-law, Gilbert Grasso of Haverhill and Dr. Ralph Grasso and his wife Joan of Boulder Colo.; a long-time friend, Rick Morse of Haverhill; as well as several nieces and nephews.

At the request of his family, funeral services will be private and at the convenience of his family. Arrangements are by the H.L. Farmer & Sons Funeral Homes and Cremation Service, Haverhill and Bradford. Contributions in his name may be made to the MSPCA at Nevins Farm 400 Broadway, Methuen, MA 01844.
