North Andover Man Faces Armed Robbery, Assault Charges

A North Andover man is due to be arraigned in Haverhill District Court on charges of armed robbery and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon after an investigation by Haverhill police.

According to police, Ariel Lopez, 26, of North Andover, was taken into custody on an outstanding warrant at 2:01 p.m., Friday, at police headquarters, 40 Bailey Boulevard.

A Haverhill man is due in court to face theft and drug-related charges following his arrest on four outstanding warrants. Haverhill police report Robert Ryan, 28, of Haverhill, was arrested at 7:15 p.m., Friday, at 18 Blaisdell St. Under warrants, he was charged with larceny over $250 by check, receiving a stolen credit card, uttering, breaking and entering and possession of a class A substance. He was additionally charged by police with resisting arrest.

Police Arrest Three for Alleged Drug Dealing

Three Haverhill residents face drug dealing charges by police as a result of two separate investigations.

According to Haverhill police, Samuel Dunn, 28, of Haverhill, was arrested at 9:30 p.m., Friday, on East Broadway. He was charged with distribution of a class A drug. He is due to be arraigned in Haverhill District Court.

Earlier Friday, Matthew T. Doyle, 34 and Dominick Pappos, 23, both of Haverhill, were arrested at 4 a.m., at 10 Ford St. Doyle was charged with distribution of a class A drug, conspiracy to violate drug laws and assault and battery. Pappos was charged with possession of a class A drug, conspiracy to violate drug laws, unarmed burglary and assault and battery.

In other police news, two Haverhill men are due in court to face assault and other charges in connection with separate disturbances Saturday.

Haverhill police report Keith Comeau, 34, of Haverhill, was arrested at 11:36 p.m., Saturday, at 93 High St. He was charged with three counts of threatening to commit a crime, two counts of assault and battery on a police officer, disorderly conduct (subsequent offense) and resisting arrest.

Earlier Saturday, Jason Cathey, 40, of Haverhill, was arrested at 5:58 p.m., at 103 Bellevue Ave. He was charged with a single count of assault with a dangerous weapon.
