Seven Northern Essex Community College (NECC) alumni spoke to current students participating in the internship program about their careers while offering career advice.

Some two dozen students from the computer science, business and journalism/communication programs were treated to an end-of-semester luncheon and received certificates of completion of the internship program from their program coordinators.

This past semester Sarah E. Tiso and Alyssa L. Torres, journalism students at NECC, joined WHAV.

Following the luncheon, the panelists, all of whom attended NECC, shared their academic and career journeys, discussed challenges they had to overcome and offered advice on how to advance their careers.
