Corrine E. ‘Connie’ (Moody) Egan, 71

Corrine E. “Connie” (Moody) Egan, 71, a longtime resident of Haverhill, died April 26, at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House.

Born in Rochester, N.H. and raised in Milton, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Alice M. (Finney) Moody. She attended local schools and Fazio’s Hairdressing School. She owned and operated Corrine’s Beauty Shop and was also formerly employed at Tillie’s Beauty Shop. She also worked for many years as the hair stylist at Berube-Comeau Funeral Home of Haverhill, and was also employed at Derry Shoe Co, Western Electric Co., and Bradlee’s Department Store.

A member of All Saints Parish of Haverhill and the former Saint Joseph Parish, Egan was an avid Boston Red Sox and New England Patriot’s Fan. A devoted grandmother, she was a huge Disney fan and collected Tinkerbell Figurines. She also enjoyed country music, camping, vacations to the Cape and Conway and watching her favorite classic movies.

The wife of the late Daniel R. Egan, she is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Kelly A. and Rob Hamel of Haverhill; a son, Daniel R. Egan Jr. of Haverhill; son and daughter-in-law Shawn M. and Kerry Egan of Haverhill; sisters Barbara Sousa of Brewster, Joanne Taylor of Virginia Beach, Virg., Patricia Wiggin of Rochester, N.H., and Nancy Valure of Chester, N.H., grandchildren, Timothy J. Egan, Joshua D. Noyes, Rhiannon Egan, Nathan Metheny, Liam Egan, Delana Egan, Brielle Egan, Tyler Dube and Arielle Dube; great-granddaughter Charlotte Quinn McCooty; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her life celebration Thursday, April 30, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Berube-Comeau Funeral Home, 47 Broadway, Haverhill. Her funeral will be held Friday, May 1, at 9 a.m. from the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in All Saints Church. Burial will be in Saint James Cemetery.
