A Haverhill man is due to be arraigned in district court after his arrest over the weekend on a drug dealing charge by Haverhill police.
According to police, Joshua Santiago, 24, of Haverhill, was arrested at 4:10 a.m., Saturday, at 64 Pecker St. He is charged with a single count of possession of a class D substance with intent to distribute.
In other police news, a Haverhill man was arrested Saturday under a probation warrant in which he faces a charge of motor vehicle homicide by negligent operation. Haverhill Police report Emmanuelle Vargas, 22, of Haverhill, was taken into custody at 5:10 p..m., Saturday, at 5 John St.
A Haverhill woman is due to be arraigned in court after her arrest Friday night on a prostitution charge. Haverhill police report Amy Noves, 31, of Haverhill, was arrested at 8:25 p.m., Friday,at the intersection of White and Cedar streets. She was charged with one count of sexual conduct for a fee.
A Haverhill man faces multiple motor vehicle charges, including unlicensed operation, after his arrest Friday night stemming from a traffic stop. Haverhill police report Luis Vega, 20, of Haverhill, was arrested at 9 p.m., Friday, on Arthur Street. He was charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, receiving stolen property, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and with number plate and lights violations. He is due to be arraigned on the charges in Haverhill District Court.
