Police Arrest Girl Scout Cookie Money Thief on Drug Dealing Charges

Two Haverhill residents are due to arraigned in district court on charges resulting from an arrest and investigation on drug dealing charges Thursday evening.

Pierre Thibault, 20, of Haverhill, was arrested at 7:10 p.m., Thursday, on Essex Street. He was charged with possession of a class A substance with intent to distribute, possession of a class C substance and conspiracy to violate drug laws. He was also taken into custody on an unspecified outstanding warrant. The investigation lead police to Thibualt’s home at 25 High St. There, Joshua Roy, 26, of Haverhill, was arrested at 7:50 p.m. on a single count of unlicensed possession of ammunition.

Thibault was arrested last week in New Hampshire on theft charges in connection with a cash box reported stolen from Girl Scouts selling cookies outside Walgreens on South Main Street, Rochester, N.H.

In other police news, a Haverhill woman is due to appear in Haverhill District Court following her arrest Thursday evening on an outstanding warrant. Haverhill police report Michelle Belfiore, 38, of Haverhill, was arrested at 7:10 p.m., Thursday, at CVS Pharmacy, Lowell Avenue. Under a warrant, she is charged with possession of a class C substance and with trespassing.
